Welcome to Abbey Vet Clinic

Established over 80 years ago, Abbey Vets originally began as a 2-person farm animal practice in Forfar. In 1997 the practice expanded and opened a second full time clinic in Arbroath.  Over the years the practice has developed and is now exclusively a busy companion animal practice covering a large geographical area in Angus. 

Our clinics are located centrally within Forfar and Arbroath and have off road parking facilities. We provide a range of services at both our clinics including – consultations, weight clinics, vaccinations, surgery, radiography, ultrasound, blood testing and animal health certificates. 

We carry out daily operations at both of our clinics – often involving acute, emergency situations!

At Abbey Vets we pride ourselves on our close-knit team who work together to ensure the health and happiness of each of our clients and patients. Many of our staff have been with us for a number of years and have built up a personal relationship with many of our clients. They are involved in a number of local activities and events to do with animal care and welfare within the community and are always happy to answer any questions you may have.
